I was a quick pregnancy. I didn’t even know I was expecting. Now I am the proud father of a 2 millimeter shard of kidney stone. One minute I didn’t have a care in the world and the next thing I know, BAM! It hit me. I have never felt pain like that before, it was like I was incorrectly lifting a tree out of the ground and while I was busy doing that, someone decided to sneak up and kick me in the groin, in 5 minute intervals.

The bladder plays a very important role in the totality of our health. It functions as a reservoir for urine in our bodies. When the kidneys filter waste from the blood, urine is produced that enters into the bladder through two tubes called ureters, the bladder then allows the storage of urine for a period of time before being released in urination through another tube called urethra. The bladder can be thought of as a muscular balloon; a flattened structure when there is no urine (immediately after a person urinates) but can be filled up to a liter with urine. Normally when the bladder is filled with urine of about half a liter, we feel the urge to urinate. The muscular structure of the bladder also helps other pelvic muscles to push the urine out when released. The bladder is located in the lower abdomen deep in the pelvis, just above the pubic symphysis.

Sometimes a combination of two or three conventional therapies including surgery, radiation and chemotherapy are used by physicians. Treatments enhance the lives of more than two-thirds of stage-1 and stage-2 patients by five years or more. Surgery has been doing the same in around 16% of the cases.

Do you know that chiropractors only use natural treatments to loosen up their patients? This is one of the main differences between a chiropractor and other types of doctors. Chiropractors do not prescribe drugs. Instead, they are taught to heal the body naturally. There are a variety of tools at a chiropractor’s disposal to help rehabilitate the spine. One such tool that is gaining popularity is the use of massage chairs to loosen up the tight back muscles of patients.

There are a range of tongue scrapers being sold out there. Some made of plastic, others made of rubber, and some are comprised of metal and stainless steel. While I can’t say that I have tried them all, Dr. Tung’s tongue scraper is the best tongue scraper that I’ve ever owned. It’s what I regularly use today ever since I came across one a few years ago. I’ll tell you some reasons why.
